Excuse the mess behind the Socks!! Only place I could get my husband to pose for a picture of his new socks was in his office. I made his sock in a 2x2 rib pattern using Kroy sock yarn in Flax on size 2 DPNs. I didn't really follow a pattern for these. I just figured my gauge (no, I didn't swatch), did the math, and cast on. Once I got the basic sock thing down, it was pretty easy. For my socks, I used the Waving Lace pattern from IK Spring 2004. I used the Sock it to Me from Elann knit with size 1 DPNs. DH wants another 2 pairs for his birthday at the end of next month. I better get going, he has big feet!
Since tomorrow is Tuesday, I will follow in Alison's footsteps and post about the progress of the knitalongs I have joined. Until then, it is late and I am tired.

I love the socks! I just did the first of the curvy lace socks from Creative Knitting and I was surprised at how quickly that knit up on size 3's. Could be a new sock addict has been born ;)
Beautimous socks! The Man Who Lives in the House only let me knit him one thing, once, a cozy for his wireless bluetooth mouse. And that after he asked me if I was even CAPABLE of knitting such a thing. You'd think I would have said no after he had insulted me so.
